Give yourself to the cushion and practice a day of silence, freedom, and ease. The One Day Meditation Retreat is a silent retreat. It allows participants an extended time devoted to the calming practices of meditation, including 30-minute sitting meditation periods, interspersed with walking meditation and moving exercises. Dharma talks will also be used to clarify key points about Chan practice and meditation, as well as allow us to raise questions regarding our practice.

Vegetarian lunch will be provided.

To participate in the One Day Meditation Retreat, it’s recommended that participants have prior meditation experience, such as an introductory meditation class.

Fee: $60. Additional donations would be appreciated.

Registration: Submit the registration form. Please let us know should there be any food allergies, and/or request for a fee reduction. Once accepted, email confirmation will be sent to you containing payment instructions. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 3-4 days of registration, please send an email to meditation@ddmbaontario.org for follow up.

Notes: The Centre provides meditation mats/round cushions/towels. Participants are required to observe the Meditation Retreats Etiquette.
