Join us for an afternoon of mindfulness, meaningful conversation, and community at Compassion In Action: Q&A Forum with Ven. Chang Sing and UofT Chan Meditation Group. This event will be conducted in English only.
About Venerable Chang Sing
Venerable Chang Sing (a.k.a. Chang Shing) is a senior monastic and scholar of Dharma Drum Mountain. He serves as Secretary General of the Dharma Drum Mountain Charity Foundation and was the First Director of the DDM San Francisco Bay Area Center (2016-2021).
He has participated in disaster relief efforts across Southeast Asia and Taiwan, including earthquake and flood relief in Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, and Taiwan. His work includes providing educational support and care for youth, and assisting vulnerable communities in rebuilding and recovery. Through his teachings and service, he promotes bringing the Dharma into communities through mindful action and compassionate service, both in daily life and in times of extreme difficulty.
