English Beginner's Meditation Workshop will be conducted in two days on Nov 5 & 6 from 10:00 pm - 3:30 pm. Registration is done via the Nov 5 event page. No drop in thank you.
This two days Beginner’s Meditation Workshop is a systematic and thorough introduction to the practice of Buddhist meditation. It covers the prerequisite conditions when preparing for meditation, proper sitting postures, techniques for relaxation, and basic methods of concentration. Plus other supporting techniques to regulate the body, mind, and spirit such as self-massage, yoga exercises, and daily mindfulness techniques. In this workshop you will not only learn sitting meditation but also breathing, walking, standing and sleeping meditation.
Fee: $120. Additional donations would be appreciated. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with the payment instruction.
