Master Sheng Yen is an internationally renown Chan master. In Taiwan, he is known as an educator and founder of the Dharma Drum Mountain. Being a Chan master and an educator represent the two sides of Master Sheng Yen’s career.

In this lecture, Professor Chun-Fang Yu will discuss Master Sheng Yen’s scholarship and contribution to Chinese Buddhism.
