About the Event

The Diamond Sutra, also known as the Vajra Prajnaparamita Sutra, is a highly regarded sutra within the Chan Buddhism tradition, for its profound insights of emptiness and its guidance on the path to enlightenment.

In the Sutra, the Buddha said

“ Without abiding, Mind arises.”   and

“ If one sees me in forms or seeks me in sounds, one practices a wrong path and will not discern the Tathagata.”

In the series of two lectures, Ven. Guo Xing, DDM Chan Hall Master, will direct practitioners to know Buddha’s real teachings that go beyond words.

Dharma talks will be delivered in Mandarin Chinese with English and Cantonese interpretations. Ven. Guo Xing speaks Chinese and English.  All are welcome.

There is no need to register but do plan to arrive early and settle the mind before the Dharma talk starts.
