About the Event
The fifteenth day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar is the Chinese Zhongyuan Festival. In Buddhism, it is called the Obon Festival, also known as the Day of Rejoicing of the Buddha. Through the Dharma offering, and the merits of offering to the sangha in the ten directions, all beings in the six realms can gain wisdom, relieve their sufferings, and deliver past and present parents, relatives and friends.
This year, the COVID-19 pandemic around the world is severe, and social unrest has affected many people. With this chanting services, we sincerely transfer the merits to all the casualties, to people who have suffered from disasters and illnesses, for peace of mind and peace in the world!
